Current Building work for a new build eco house, constructed from SIP panels, has started on site in Newhall, the award winning new town outside Harlow, Essex. RDA Architects is developing a project for 8 flats in Hertfordshire. Tyers Gate, the conversion of a former leather warehouse, has recently featured in The Evening Standard’s Homes & Property magazine. RDA Architects has won planning permission for a new build eco house in East Dulwich. Work is soon to begin on site. John Brown, founder of the Slow Home movement, recently visited Lacon Road. In 2008 architectural practices participating in the scheme raised £92,500 for Shelter, money which will go towards helping families to find and keep their homes.
